I have lived with (and been solely responsible for) the following animals: rabbits, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, Anoles, and dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am not comfortable...

Margaret T. says:
Gretchen (and her pooch) recently moved away from here (Austin, TX).

I do not have my own dog, but Gretchen did and she was unlike other neighbors by the fact that she: 1) Actually picked up her dog's poo! Sounds like a simple idea (and it is) and yet the concept has not quite caught on here at our apartment community. 2) She always kept him on-leash and he was well-behaved. Gretchen S. responds:
Thank you, Margaret, for taking some time to tell about my dog ways. It was nice living next door to you because you're super sweet but also because it really is nice to be appreciated. I do go out of my way to be respectful with Duke and with other dogs I am sitting. You know about my dog, and my kitty, and my lizard because I have told you about them and not because you have heard them. Nice, isn't it?

I...

Christi B. says:
I have known Gretchen since 1997 and ever since I have known her she has been amazing with animals. We share a love for animals and I was even with her when we adopted her dog, Duke. She not only takes in cats and dogs, but she has rescued rabbits, lizards, and been a mother to a vast variety of other species. I rescued my own dog from a gas station and love her like my daughter and would not hesitate to have... More

Gretchen S. responds:
Christi I still remember the night you wanted me to come with you to a pet store to look at a big white dog for you to look at. "Oh Christi, I don't want to go look at dogs. What if I take one home?!"

2 hours later; there we are and there I met Duke. His one kiss told me all I needed to know and I have never regretted going with you that night. (best birthday in a long while!)

I am glad you found LuLu...
