I always had a family pet growing up. As soon as I was in my first apartment, I got a cat and later a dog. I have owned a few cats as well as multiple dogs in my adult life, mild-mannered to the most stubborn. I currently have an Australian Shepherd/Black Lab mix that is as sweet as pie. My dog before that was a 80 pound male husky that did not appreciate being told what to do, by me or anyone else. I have been through multiple obedience classes, beginner through intermediate, and am comfortable handling dogs with a little "spunk".

I love animals and respect each animal as having their own personality. As such, their care is not a "Fits all sizes" kind of experience. I am more than happy to care for your family pet(s) in the evenings, on weekends, and even overnight! Please note, though, that I have a 2-year-old that will likely be with me. He is very mild-mannered, and extremely well-behaved. This said, I ask that I not be asked to sit or care for any aggressive animals nor any that do not get along well with children.
