I am absolutely passionate about animals, because I believe I was put on this Earth to care for all types of animals. I have been volunteering frequently for about a year now at the Hillsborough County Animal Shelter, as well as transitioning pets through a program that allows them more time to be adopted. During my course at the animal shelter, I have had experience in Vet Tech, watching procedures such as spays and neuters, as well as other various surgeries. I have experience cleaning kennels, bathing dogs and cats, and administering medicine. In addition to volunteering with the animal shelter, I also have had a cornucopia of experience with animals. I have had at least one dog all of my life, and as many as four at one time. My responsibilities, which include experience are, but are not limited to; walking, washing, feeding, grooming, and playing with dogs. I also have an ability to read dogs, as well as other animals with ease. In addition to caring for dogs, I have taken care of an assortment of small rodents, fish, reptiles, and cats.
