I've never had a dog when I was younger, but when I adopted one from a family friend last year, I felt like I missed out on the unique loyalty and love that a dog is able to give you all these years. My little Chi mix, Simba, is my best friend, and I always try to keep him mentally and physically stimulated - the benefits are endless and it'll end up helping the owner out so much in the long run too. I understand how important it is to take the dogs out on a walk, no matter how long, because I have extensive experience with mine. He sleeps better, is always in a better mood, and is just overall more content! I'm able to walk the dog for up to 3 hours if needed, and am pretty confident in dog commands if necessary.
