I have always had pets since a young age, running the gambit from guinea pigs and fish to rabbits and dogs. I do not currently have pets living with me, but my family has multiple dogs that I visit as often as possible. I enjoy spending time with them; seeing their individual personalities and the therapeutic effects of just interacting with them.

I've been fortunate to have been involved in various functions within private rescue groups (fostering, transporting, marketing, etc). I also completed an internship during college at the Wisconsin Humane Society working with their PAL program. I am currently a volunteer at WHS as well. Animal Advocacy is extremely important to me and I enjoy donating and keeping up-to-date with national groups such as ASPCA and HSUS.
