I'm almost 19 years old (June 14th). I'm pursuing a degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa, after growing up in Geneva. I spend my summers in Geneva, Illinois at my parent's home. My family has had many different animals that I helped take care of while growing up. I personally have had two guinea pigs, a hamster, many fish, and still have one African clawed frog. I'm really a dog person, but I like to relax with our cats too. We have had mostly medium to large dogs. I've taken care of up to 5 dogs at a time and we've had a total of 2 Australian Shepperd's, 3 English Setters, 2 Labs, a Beagle mix, a Boxer mix, a great Dane mix, and three short-haired tiger cats. I've dog sat for 1 Lab, two retrievers, and a Boxer mix before. My family's pets have had special diets and needs before. One of the dogs had a pacemaker, one was Diabetic with liver failure, a few have had hip trouble (common for larger dogs), and one was abused before we got him. I'm able to give insulin shots, pills, and nose drops if needed. I can't say it enough, I love animals and know how to treat them. You can't find a more loving, responsible, and dog-knowledgeable sitter for your animal.
