I have always loved being around animals. I had a beagle for 8 years, and I also have 5 years of experience house-sitting, which includes cat-sitting, watering plants, and feeding fish for a family in my neighborhood while they are away on vacation. I usually charge $10/day for cat-sitting. Dog-sitting would be $20/day. I include a free light house-cleaning during the time you are away. This would include vacuuming, cleaning counter tops and tables, and scooping the litter box daily. I promise to spend extra time petting and playing with your pet beyond just feeding them and taking them for a walk. I know how lonely pets can be when their owners are gone. For cats, I would stop by 2-3 times per day depending on your preference. For dogs, I would come every 3-5 hours, the first visit being at 7 a.m. and the last at 10 p.m. Other basic duties I provide are taking in your newspapers and mail and watering plants.
