I care for other people's pets, including reptiles and fish when they go on vacation and pet sit while they are at work. Daily exercise is paramount for energetic dogs! I play fetch, chase, and walk or run (depending on their energy level) with these types of dogs. The more exercise they get the calmer and more obedient they will be for you when you get home. I obedience train with love and patience. Positive reinforcement is the key to success. Each pet has a unique temperament and needs individualized attention. Some dogs and cats like to be brushed and some don't. Each pet has his/her own favorite way to be scratched or stroked. I am very careful to key into his/her own likes and dislikes. Most importantly, you know your pet the best! I will honor your reasonable requests for the care of your pet while you are gone.
