I am currently working at a boarding facility for pets as a pet care technician (for almost two year's now), so I am very comfortable working with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have spent a brief amount of time working in a veterinary hospital, have taken courses on canine anatomy, physiology, and massage, and am presently working on my certification for canine massage and rehabilitation. I am always working to expand my knowledge of animals, specifically when it is in relation to the health and behavior of pets. For over two years now I have been driving at least an hour to get to work, so I would be willing to drive wherever needed as long as I am properly compensated.
On a more personal note, I am really just an animal lover looking to work with my furry friends. I find fulfillment working with animals and can think of nothing else I would rather do for the rest of my life. My dream job is to own and operate my own pet boarding facility, so I am always looking for new ways to gain experience so I can one day reach that goal.
