I became a foster mom to a large Lab mix, Gus, in 1994 and he stayed for six years. I adored him. I love the dogs that followed too: Henry, a fawn Doberman, and now Ollie, a Pointer mix, and Ivy, a Jack Russell/Whippet mix. I've been lucky enough to work at home and organize my life around my dogs and am very familiar with what dogs need in terms of loving care and a daily routine. I have a large group of friends with dogs and often take care of their dogs, either with walks or dog-sitting (day care and overnights). I love animals and am very reliable and dedicated. I have a Master's Degree in English Literature and love reading and writing when I'm not out having fun with the dogs. I've also fostered dogs, including a special needs dog who required daily insulin injections.

I also have experience as a cleaner/housekeeper and am willing to pitch in when help is needed around the house. I enjoy the work and am willing to commit to both short-term and long-term assignments. I work from home as a film studio Story Analyst, which enables me to have a fairly flexible schedule.
