I love my dogs. I have had five in my life, Pookie, Zuri, Tipsie, Wingnut, and Diddo. I have had cats as well but my husband is allergic and we can no longer have them. I have experience caring for horses, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, iguanas, snakes, small birds, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, freshwater fish, cats, and dogs of course. I enjoy making homemade treats for my pets and I give them to friends and family members as gifts for their pets. When my dog Tipsie had her litter of eight she got an infection and passed away about one week later. I nursed, cleaned and cared for those newborn pups for two weeks while we waited for a surrogate mother to become available. Those puppies needed so much attention that my husband couldn't believe I could do it. When they finally got to the surrogate there were still eight puppies, we didn't lose one! It was the second proudest moment of my life, right next to giving birth to my own daughter.
