If you're like me, your pets have become family members. When you can't be home for them due to other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. With familiar surroundings, smells, and food, your pet is less stressed than they would be at a kennel. After spending my career in the corporate world only to be laid off twice within a short period of time, I decided to follow my passion. I had been pet sitting part time for several years and decided to make pet sitting my full time job. I am "mom" to a 3-year-old female Siberian Husky/American Eskimo named Misty. I have years of experience with many different breeds of dogs both large and small, cats, some birds and rabbits. I also have basic experience with horses and I'm always willing to learn!
It has been a pleasure and extremely rewarding to meet and spend time with all these wonderful pets! I'm so blessed to have met so many wonderful animals and their pet parents!
I offer a multitude of services from pet sitting, overnight sitting, and dog walking for a variety of pets.
Dawn the pet nanny is an active volunteer and a 2011 Board of Directors member for Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue. I am Pet CPR/First Aid certified through the Pet Savers program. I am a member of Professional United Pet Sitters, LLC and also Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. Dawn the Pet Nanny is bonded and insured and references are available upon request!
