Hi, I'm a 30 yr. old mother of two wonderful boys. We currently have three cats as part of our family and if it was up to me we'd have more animals. I have always grown up having animals in my life. I'm comfortable with just about ANY animal out there! I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, fish, rabbits, frogs, tarantulas (yes the creepy crawlies). I am very passionate about animals and children. My family and I just recently lost our German Shepard that we had for the last 9 1/2 yrs. We lost her to cancer of the liver which we only had 2 days with her by the time we found out what was wrong with her. It was a very hard loss for myself and the rest of my family. I was very angry about losing her, it was like losing a child! During the time we had our dog we also had a cat that was always together with our German Shepard. She seemed to take it very hard that her friend (we called them sisters) wasn't coming home. A month and a half after losing our dog I took our children to the Humane Society to get a kitten. I ended up bringing a kitten and a cat home. Needless to say my husband was not very happy with me, but he fell in love with the two that I brought home. Now we have 3 great little girls that we love dearly and make us laugh on a daily basis. All animals have a personality!!!

I have done pet sitting for my Grandparents on occasion when I was a teenager & I also took care of a family's show dogs while they were on vacation several times in high school.

I think all animals should be treated as part of the family and they will show you the same love and respect in return!!!
