Although I have O years of 'paid' experience caring for animals, I have had a lifetime of experience of volunteering and caring for all kinds of animals free of charge, including cats, dogs, cockateils, wild, injured birds, chickens, hamsters and even a few troubled teenagers. I currently have one cat, but have had many cats and dogs over the years. All my animals were either rescued, strays, abandoned or simply walked through my front door with my kids looking for a handout, which they got, including a new home. No animal was ever turned away. I fed a colony of feral cats, found homes for several and my children and I rescued many animals from the streets. My passion is all about the safety, protection and care of animals, whether they are domestic or farm animals. Each one deserves a safe, cruelty-free life. I can't imagine living my life without animals in it. They have given me so much in return for their loving personalities and companionship and I am forever grateful. I will always find ways to help them.
