Cindy is very friendly with the dogs. They were very excited to meet with her. Our dogs seemed a lot happier when we got back from out of town than they usually do when we have to leave them behind. She was very responsive when I was searching for a pet sitter. We needed someone last minute and available to make time for us. We had a death in the family and needed someone close by with experience very quickly and Cindy was there for us. Thank you, Cindy!

When I met Cindy, I knew I had found a winner. Cindy is a true natural with dogs; my dog (and every single dog we met when we went for a walk) loves Cindy. Cindy is personable and professional, she listens carefully to your concerns. She takes her job seriously, and has a thorough list of questions for you, to ensure that she properly cares for your pet and your home. Buddy is elderly (14 years), and I rarely leave town without him, so I was a bit concerned. I showed Cindy where his medications are (he takes 2 per day), then told her about his health issues (pancreatic and arthritis) and his quirks (he does not always take the pancreatic medication, but the arthritis medication must taste really good). While I was gone, Cindy made sure that Buddy was fed, walked, watered, and loved. My neighbors told me that Cindy did not just drive up, take him out for a walk, and dash away. She walked him, and then stayed for quite some time, giving him company while I was gone. And when Buddy's hind legs got stiff with arthritis, Cindy's canine massage classes paid off. Her gentle massages eased Buddy's pain and increased his mobility. Somehow, and I thank her dearly for this, Cindy was able to coax Buddy into taking the pancreatic medication that is prescribed for him daily. I was lucky if I could get him to take it twice a week, for Cindy, he took it every day. Now that Cindy shared her secrets with me, I, too, can get Buddy to take the medication that he used to spit out, or try to hide behind his water bowl. I truly appreciated Cindy's flexibility and willingness to work with me on Buddy's daily visits. I worried about Buddy being left alone too long between visits because he is older. Even though it was a 24-mile round trip, Cindy willingly visited multiple times per day. On the day I was due to return, she even added another visit to her schedule because my flight into Houston arrived late. Cindy is conscientious about keeping your pet and your home safe while you are away. If you need a pet sitter, Cindy is your woman. I highly recommend her.

I hired Cindy from looking at Care.com. She lives very close to us. I found her extremely communicative, reliable, and friendly. The cats warmed up to her immediately. She spent time with the cats; meaning she didn't just drop in, feed them, empty boxes and leave. She stayed and petted them and reassured them. Not only did she take care of the pets, she brought in our mail, washed my towels on the bed that one cat poo-ed in, and cleaned up a vomit stain and swept up the extra litter that accumulated around the boxes. And she sent me phone pictures of all four cats regularly and wasn't offended when I texted her for status updates. I highly recommend her.
