I have been a dog owner for over 16 years and a cat owner for over 6 years. My first dog lived to be nearly 16-years-old. I have experience with dogs of all stages, from puppyhood to end-of-life. I currently own 1 cat who is a senior with some health issues that require medication and monitoring, and 1 dog who is 5-years-old and is still a spunky puppy at heart. I have had up to 2 dogs and 3 cats at one time, so am very comfortable with multiple-pet households. I am well-versed in senior care and medicating infirmed animals, and am very alert to any problems that might arise in a pet with (or without) health problems. I will love and care for your pet as though it were my own, and will take careful heed of any special instructions or advice you can provide.

I have some experience in caring for small mammals, fish, and some birds, but I am a fast learner and feel I am competent enough to deal with most situations. I do appreciate any input you can provide on special needs or quirks of any pet I may be caring for. I look very much forward to meeting you and your fur kids!
