I currently own 10 pets, that includes dogs, cats, rabbits. I have volunteered at the Indianapolis zoo and Pet Safari in Avon, where I cleaned cages, helped with the dogs, fed and gave water to the hamsters, ferrets and guinea pigs. I am currently attending Harrison College of Veterinary Technology. While at Harrison I have learned proper pet care, how to administer medicine, done kennel duty , learned how to trim nails and important information about several types of animals including; breed behaviors, parasite and nutrition information, how to check tprs(vitals) and how to provide adequate exercise. Everything I have learned at Harrison I have done with the animals on campus and the ones I have at my own home.

I am devoted to ensuring that I help improve the lives of as many animals as I can. I believe that animals should be valued and protected. That is why after I get my my associates at harrison I am going to purdue to major in wildlife biology. My life's goal is to be a zoo curator, I want to provide animals with an environment that is close to what they have in the wild.

I am passionate about learning everything there is to know about animals, no matter what kind and I love working with them. Animals are beautiful and I want my kids to grow up with them and treasure them like I do. That is why Conservation is very important to me
