I have one dog and three cats of my own so I am actively involved in all aspects of pet care. Ideally, I think a dog should be taken at least once a day for a walk especially if they do not have much of a yard to roam around in. Care would preferably occur at the animal's home where they would be much more comfortable. I have found with my 4 that when they are away from home, they become stressed out and nervous. Unless it is okay by the vet, I do not like to give any animal human food. I do baths if requested, even with a somewhat timid pet (all 4 of my babies are terrified of the bath). Also, I do not mind transporting animals in the car so long as they have an appropriate carrier or harness to keep them secure.
