“ As a child growing up, I had numerous pets including dogs, cats, flying squirrel, parakeet, garter snake, turtles, fish, and toads. I was primary care provider for my pets, including the feeding, watering, and cleaning.
I worked for 9 years as a dog socializer with a large research facility, providing "hands on" socialization experiences to dogs ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 months. ”
