Thank you for taking the time to check out who I am and what I have to offer, and for considering me for any position.:) I have multiple types of previous experience that I have outlined in my profile, including caring for children, animals, and the elderly, and also cleaning various facilities. I feel like care giving is a calling for me. I am currently a student at Eastern Kentucky University working toward a degree in Occupational Therapy. I am 25 years old, live on my own, and have my own transportation.
I love animals. Many people say that, but few are driven by it. I have had countless pets over the years - dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, fish, hamsters, rats, etc. I have rescued and fostered animals as well, including two baby birds who had fallen from a nest (they developed successfully and became happy wild birds after growing and learning to fly) and a baby snapping turtle that was found in the snow with a broken tail far from any water source (she also grew strong and learned to catch fish in her aquarium, and was released into a pond with other snappers after about one year). I worked with a pet adoption agency, fostering dogs at my home while they were waiting to be adopted, and have volunteered services to the ASPCA, Humane Society, and a farm where I cared for swine and cattle. There is no kind of animal I wouldn't want to work with.
