In 1996, I was the Heights Pet Nanny for my neighbors. The pet nanny happened by accident. My neighbor was going on vacation and asked if I would care for their dog while they were away. Well, it was more than just feeding the dog. I would walk him, play with him and I kept him in his normal routine so that he would not be too stressed out that his parents were gone. When my neighbors came back from vacation, they were surprised to see that their dog had gained a little weight and he had no "hot spots" from stress. My neighbors told friends and the word got around to call me for their pet care. There are many reason not to put your family member into a doggie day care. The environment in a doggie day care would stress your bundle of love because not having you around with strange surroundings and the chance of catching a disease from the doggie day care. Keep your pet happy by having a person that REALLY enjoys caring for your pet.
