I have experience dog sitting for two Bichon Frisees in home for the owner for up to a month at a time. I have also cared for another family's Maltese Shitzu regularly for as much as a month in the home. Care involved staying in the home and walking the dogs at least three times a day, feeding depending on the type of feeding schedule the individual dogs had, brushing and playing with the animals a lot. This also required being prepared as to what to do in an emergency. I have also cared for two adult male cats in the home of their person on many different occasions. The cats were indoor/outdoor cats and had a regular feeding schedule twice a day and would come in to sleep in the evening. I am a real animal lover that animals can tell appreciates them. I have also taken care of a high energy male Boston Terrier and an old German Shepherd. I also had my own Queensland Heeler for 16 years. I am a firm believer in being hands on with people's pets, playing with them, grooming them if necessary. I think it is essential for dogs to be walked at least twice a day for at least a half an hour at a time. I am a trustworthy pet sitter and as I mentioned above love both dogs and cats.
