As a pet owner for over 45 years, I truly enjoy caring for animals. My background and experience includes basic obedience training for dogs, pet-provided therapy, pet-sitting, and dog-walking services. I currently offer pet care services including pet care visits to your home, dog walking, and, on a limited basis, overnight pet care in my home.
I have had animal companions my entire life. As a child, I grew up with a miniature schnauzer who was with my family for 16 wonderful years. As an adult, I have shared my home with dogs, birds, rabbits, and hamsters. I currently have two yellow labs. I have been involved in pet-provided therapy since 1997. My three beloved yellow labs, Darby, Amber, and Belle, now passed on, were licensed therapy dogs, and all achieved their GCG certification (Canine Good Citizen). Together we visited retirement homes, hospitals, special needs schools, and more. I am experienced in caring for older dogs, having cared for my own throughout their 15 year life spans, administering medications and therapies as needed. I have been providing pet-sitting, dog walking, and in-home pet-care services for over 19 years.
