My present employer had 2 dogs when I first started to work for her. She and her husband would go out of town periodically, or whenever I worked my regular schedule or worked overnights, I fed, walked, administered medication, took them to the vet, and when one of the them died about a month ago, I was there while she was put down. I have wrapped medication in food so that the dog would eat it. I love dogs and grew very close to her during the two years I have worked there.
