This is my first "official" entry into the pet care service industry. In short: our dogs have always been as important of a part of our family as anyone else in our home. For example: our 86 lbs, 8-year-old, four legged Son sleeps right between Mom and I, especially as the cold season creeps in. Our previous dog acquired a rare hepatitis disease that took him early at just 3 years old. Though, the doctor repeatedly told us that she did not see much hope in finding a way to save Rex, we handed her our credit card and said go until he doesn't go any longer - she did, he did not, and we never once felt anything but love for Rex every month the billing statement arrived. While I have always respected how each household raises their own dog, i. e. allowed or not on furniture, receive table scraps or not, etc., our dog's lifestyle is he may sit on any furniture (excluding the dinner table area), takes many car rides, is out front as well as the back yard, travels the tri-state region as we visit family, never stays in a kennel (his Grandma in Indiana takes care of him) and receives very little table scraps. The love for one's animal can be shown in a variety of ways. If it is shown with love, it can't be all bad. Side note: we found two very small baby rabbits a few years ago in our side yard. We took them in from the cold, got on line to become educated on how to raise a wild rabbits - the odds were less than 10% success according to several sites. Well, Thumper & Digger were released into the wild the following spring; healthy and we believe happy. Thank you for your consideration.
