My experience includes dog walking; brushing, feeding, and medicating pets; and cleaning cat boxes. I grew up with cats. After I moved out of my parents' home in Oakland in 1978, I lived in apartments that did not allow pets and did not have the opportunity to take care of animals until December 2004. I had been talking to my friends in Oakland about how I wished I could have a pet cat again, and they found a cat in need for me. I adopted this cat, renaming her Amber, and my roommates also adopted a cat we named Piglet. Later on my roommates also adopted a dog called Buddy. I brush the cats, put Biotene on their gums, give them flea medicine, and take care of the cat boxes.
