Hi! When I lived in the Bahamas, we had a plethora of hamsters in our car, as well as fish but then we got puppies! One was a Bahamian mutt that was dying on the side of the road, now he is a beautiful and healthy dog! He lives with another family since we had to move, and we also purchased a pure-bred Bichon Frise, and cared for him also, until we had to give him away. I also took two years of English horse-back riding and competed in shows, in that time, it was important to my instructor that I knew the basics of caring for a horse, so I learned a lot about horses during that time, cleaning their hooves/shoes, bathing them, care of the tack, and how to put the tack on properly, etc. I used to live on a farm too, and although I was young girl and wasn't required to do animal-related chores, I was exposed to a lot of them, and would give a bottle to one of the abandoned lambs we had, play with the dogs, and gather eggs from the chicken coop in the morning. I also looked after not only hamsters, but birds, and cats. I really love animals, and think they're a joy to work with! Thanks for considering me!
