I have a dog and cat at home, and I understand the importance of caring for animals. All my life I have been around and caring for different animals. In the past, I've had about four dogs, 4 hamsters, 3 birds, and 10 fish. Many of these animals has passed away or given away because of behavior problems or illnesses. I believe that taking care of animals is just as valuable as taking care of a human. Animals should always be treated with the same respect and dignity as humans would with others.
