I volunteered my time at Anne Young's Wild Bird Refuge when I was in high school. I also worked for PetSmart for two and a half years until the location I worked for closed. I was in charge of the care of the cats on location and all of the reptiles, small animals and fish. I was also in charge of administering medication and checking on the health of sick pets. During my time working there I developed my passion and adopted many animals of my own. Animals bring me such joy. As a current college senior at the University of South Florida I consider them my children.
