I worked for a pet hotel in the St. Louis, MO., area for two years, both on and off property. I have experience with all breeds and sizes. I mostly worked in a cage-free environment with an average of 30 to 50 dogs at one time with the help of other staff. I have experience in administering First Aid and medications, including insulin injections. Many of the dogs I worked with had special needs-anxiety, nervousness, fear, old age, illness or injury, young puppies, behavioral issues, etc. I also did walking, in-home pet care, and pet-sitting. I recently formed my own company. I am the owner and pet care provider, so you will always have any correspondence and services with one person, me. I have taken what I have learned from other work experiences, such as, working at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, working for area veterinarians, working as a massage therapist, and working as a nanny and combined this with my experience at the pet hotel. I feel I have come up with the perfect "recipe" for the most individualized and accommodating pet care available for your very special family members. I have two large dogs (my third dog that we brought in to our home after a client, and good friend, unexpectedly passed away, has moved on to a new home after living with us for nine months), two cats, and a hamster, and of course, they are all my babies. My wonderful family takes care of them when I am away taking care of another family's furry, feathered, or finned members. I am fully insured and a member of PSA. I like to think of my clients' pets as extended family, and spoil them as if they were my very own.
