I have grown up with and been around animals all my life. My family had a black labrador, cocker spaniel, golden retriever, two shih-tzus, and several cats at one point or another during my childhood. One of our cats was actually a rescue, we found abandoned in a parking lot. She ended up having several litters of kittens in my bedroom closet of all places! Now, I own two shih-tzus myself, and they are my babies! PJ is 4 and Bailey is 5 years old.
