I started out volunteering at the Potter Shelter several years ago. So far this year, since spring, I've logged over 100 hours. Mainly I work with the cats but also walk dogs and sit in on dog training classes sometimes. I attended a workshop put on by Sweet Bink's rabbit rescue, went on to learn more about rabbits and now work with all the small animals. I've had finches, small parrots and cockatiels. I have 3 cats now, (down from 6 and a stray) and wish I could have a dog but I can't where I live.
