Hannah M. - Los Angeles Pet Sitter or Dog Walker

Profile of Hannah M.

Full-Time, 8 Years of Experience

In addition to eight years of pet sitting/animal care experience, I am also a licensed veterinary technician. I have loved and worked around animals all my life, but understand that sometimes just loving animals isn't enough to put you at ease when you are looking for the right person to take care of your pets while you are away. In the (unlikely) event that your pet has an emergency situation, having the medical training and knowledge to make split second decisions could make the difference in your animal's life. I am resourceful, dependable, honest, punctual, friendly and I love all animals from ants to elephants. My passion and love for animals combined with my education and experience working around them make me very comfortable taking care of animals in-home. I have one dog named "Louie-Bighead" and he is the love of my life. I know that I could never relax if I left him with someone that wouldn't know what to do if he had an allergic reaction or some other type of incident. I keep a pet First Aid kit in my car at all times for anything from minor scratches to emergencies. It is very important to me that your animal experiences the least amount of stress possible while you are away. I work part-time as a veterinary technician, and I am working towards specializing in behavior. My job can be stressful at times and let's face it most of the animals do NOT want to be there. Pet sitting has been a great way of shaking off the stress of a hospital setting and gives me a chance to be goofy (but still responsible) with animals and know they are HAPPY to see me, not running the other way because I'm the lady with the thermometer :) I offer safe, fun and knowledgable care for your animal and you never have to worry while you are away.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I run daily, read A LOT, play piano, am Kung Fu movieaholic, I run a non-profit with some friends in LA (reason I moved here from Ga). I draw, paint, photograph, hike, swim, do yoga and kickboxing and my favorite animals are elephants.
