Hello, in addition to being a dog owner, I have also been a member of the Hawaii Dog Foundation and fostered some dogs with that organization. This is in addition to having rescued a few that were homeless around our area. At one point during the time we were fostering, we had one elderly arthritic dog, one puppy, and two large dogs that had been found suffering from malnutrition. We had the two large dogs for a few months until they were healthy enough to be adopted. We then had a puppy who had been abandoned and was not potty trained. After that we rescued a dog that was running around the neighborhood and we held onto him until we were able to get animal control to come and pick him up. I have had a lot of experience with dogs in the past few years. When I was younger my mother bred show dogs and we always had a lot of dogs running around the house. So overall, I am definitely dog experienced.

Where my wife and I live we have a lot of great trails and hikes around so we are usually taking our two dogs out and going hiking with them. Then I try to take my lab puppy to the dog park at least every other day so he can socialize with other dogs.
