Thankfully, I grew up with dogs and cats who were not just pets, but beloved family members. To this day, my parents refer to their current dogs as my brother and sister. Yes, they do this with straight faces - and I wouldn't have it any other way! For many years, I thought I would become a veterinarian. Then, I encountered chemistry and trigonometry and decided I could enjoy animals without the advanced degree!As an adult, I've had pets of my own, two rats and two cats - not concurrently, as you might imagine! I've pet sat primarily for dogs and cats but am very open to other small animals (I'm not sure how I'd do with livestock). I promise to love and care for your furry friends like they were my own, and my own are highly spoiled!
