For the pampered parrot (or other birds!) As a bird lover and owner, it was easy to go away when I lived with "Grandma", but, more difficult since I moved to Atlanta. The only option I have is the vets, and while there is "medical" close by, there are a lot of other pets, both well and sick, plus no one is usually around at night nor on he weekends. In addition, the birds are usually just left alone with the other birds, and not interacted with. If you are in this situation, maybe I can help!

I have owned birds all my life, and am the proud mother of two conures. I will keep your birds in my home while you are away. I will board any type bird except a Macaw. Birds are to come with their own cage and toys for comfort, had a recent (within the year) health examine, and come with their own food mix. Your bird will have human companionship for 16 hours (which includes sleeping time) and parrot companion with my kids (Conures) in the same room 24 hours a day. Their regular food mix which you will provide, will be supplemented with fresh fruit/vegetables daily. Their cage will be spot cleaned up to three times a day. I can arrange for pickup and drop off seven days a week, so you won't have to pay for an extra boarding day. I will also discount multiple boards. There is no reason why boarding your bird should cost more than your plane tickets to go away! I have also been paid to dog sit/cat sit, and can take in smaller animals, or arrange for daily trips to your home to care for your pets.
