I worked for this center and it is not all it is cracked up to be. The owner berates the staff in front of the children, other staff and occasionally parents. The center has lost 3 children in the last year! The first child just 2 months after they opened was found by police at Regner Park!! The last reported one was just a month ago. The other was never reported to the state because according to the director and owner we were not to report anything or the center would be shut down. Check the wisconsin DCF website. Some of the staff try to do their best, others could care less when parents are not around, but then in front of parents they present this caring image. My son has a chronic condition and they had major problems with having to deal with this. I would rate this place a 0!! How many kids are they going to be allowed to loose!!
Owner response: This mother was asked to withdraw from the center. She did not want to pick up her sick child with a fever because she was at school and it was inconvenient.

We had a almost 11 year old boy run from the playground last summer we caught him and reported it. We got sited because we called police after 20 mins and our policies stated we would call within 15mins. This child was well know with the police for running away. We were unaware of this history at the time.

This Summer we had a new teacher that no longer works for my company, leave a child on the playground for 6 mins. Another staff member was supervising the situation while on break to see how long it took them to notice. The child was playing and happy. Because the other teacher was on break punched out we got sited for missing child. We didn't report this because the child was not missing but state said the other teacher was punched out supervising so we were wrong not to report it. I personally thought the child had to be missing as in we didn't know where the child was.

We have never told anyone not to report anything. We would never do that.

Both these occurrences were unfortunate. I agree this is unacceptable as a parent myself and precautions have been put in place to insure it doesn't happen again, luckily no children were harmed or in danger. We now have implemented a 15 min checklist for count and ratio to insure our staff new and old always know the headcount of children in their care.

Little Friends has been a wonderful addition to our family. My boys love every minute of their day while at Little Friends. We have not had the best daycare experiences with previous providers. So far I have been blown away by the care my boys have received.

Great ladies that work at LFLC, and really know how to handle larger groups of toddlers. They have shown great interest in our son's growth as a person, and have always shown great care for him. He even at 3 knows that he goes to day care on Tuesday's & Wednesday's, and really looks forward to going!

Our daughter has been attending LFLC for about a year full time now and we have watched her really grow academically and it has helped her socially. She is a very shy child, so sometimes transitioning to a new room or new teacher is tough, but as long as we communicate her needs they are receptive and willing to help. I know it is part of daycare life, but I would like to have more consistent rooms/teachers throughout the year for a child like ours, that's our only concern. Some mornings are pretty busy and noisy with kids and she doesn't do well with that either. But overall a great and warm place.

I get compliments all the time on how smart RJ is. I'm glad we chose LFLC to care for our child. Since we both have to work full time we can trust that he is in good hands. Now our second will be starting school at LFLC very soon!

Little Friends Learning Center is Amazing-It means so much to me to be able to go to work and not have to worry. They always follow through, have great communication and make me feel so comfortable and safe leaving my son there. They have daily activities and they are always busy with my son. He loves it there.

Wow - I do not agree at all with the post from 'Mom'. It is time consuming to register as a user on each site/create a profile and then write a review, I find it perfectly acceptable that parents are incentivized to complete reviews. As parents, knowing that other parents will be reading these reviews as they contemplate one of the biggest decisions they will make, it is our responsibility to be honest and share our real thoughts. If I didn't have full confidence/trust/satisfaction with LFLC, then I would totally take that opportunity to share those thoughts in a review to parents researching centers....I however, am COMPLETELY satisfied! My daughter has a second family here, many great relationships have been made and most importantly she LOVES coming here. With her being 4 1/2 she's at the age where she can communicate and tell me what is going on or share if she's not happy or if something were to happen. And, she DOES share! She loves it. She asked me the other day if I could call her teacher to make a 'play date', because she wanted to 'hang out' with him! LOL - that is a true testament to a teacher who is full of passion for what they do! I would take to heart reviews from parents and consider them valuable for other parents researching the best place for their most precious children. :-)

I also think that the review program is a really good idea for low income parents that are on a price match and can not afford to pay full price and receive vacation vouchers. I don't think the email said you get paid to write positive reviews I think its just reviews period. You are just giving your opinion and I do believe that the daycare would like you to be honest about it. So this is me being honest I absolutely love this daycare when all other daycare centers kicked my daughter out because of special accommodations that were required this daycare welcomed her with open arms and i do thank them for that and i love what you guys are doing please keep up the good work thank you so much.

My daughter has been enrolled at Little Friends Learning Center since she was 6 weeks old. The teachers really helped me get a routine with her, which as a first time mother means A LOT! Everyone is very kind and it is great to see the things that they teach the children.

I absolutely love this daycare and all they have done for my daughter and I. I know I am very overprotective and overly concerned about my daughter because of what I have been through and that's my own issues. The thing I like about this daycare is that they do not get upset with me they make different arrangements for my daughter and i really appreciate that. I know that they do have my daughters best interest at heart because my daughter absolutely loves everyone there and I thank them for taking care of my daughter.
