Our program is educational, structured, and consistent. Each child is loved and respected.
THIS IS WHAT OUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
6:00 a.m. children start to arrive
6:45 a.m. we wash hands and serve breakfast
7:10 a.m. children start preparing for school
7:26 a.m. children start leaving for school
7:30 a.m. education video or music for the remaining children
8:30 a.m. circle time start with flashcards usually ones that go along with educational video, music and dancing
9:00 a.m. table time; we do workbooks, worksheets, and crafts.
9:45 a.m. the children clean up for snack.
10:00 a.m. snack time (we are sponsored by the mid-Michigan food program)
10:30 a.m. we clean them up and weather permitting we go outside. Outside we take a walk around the block and they the children are allowed to play on the swing set, in the sand box, play with the ride on toys, or in the play houses.
11:30 a.m. we clean up outside toys, wash hands and faces and prepare for lunch.
12:00 p.m. lunch
1:00 p.m. nap time and quiet time for children not napping. At this time the children not napping watch an education video, read or color.
2:30 p.m. children get up from naps.
3:00 p.m. children are leaving and children are coming in from school. We wash hands and serve snack.
3:30 p.m. spring, summer, and fall we go outside. Winter we do homework, educational games, educational centers, and worksheets. Educational activities personalized to each child 's needs.
4:30 p.m. free play
5:00 p.m. the children wash hands and have dinner.
5:30 p.m. we clean up and some children leave at this point and children may be getting dropped off.
6:00 p.m. homework time even if you do not have homework. Personalized to each child 's educational needs
7:00 p.m. free play
7:30 p.m. they wash hands and have a snack. Some children are overnight and may require a bath so this is the time we prepare for bed.
8:00 p.m. is reading/story time
8:30 p.m. is lights out.
We are open 6 days a week, 24 hours a day whether you're looking for full-time childcare or just time out. Give me a call and come check us out.
