I am so thankful for Kaplan. Kaplan helped me with my SAT's and GRE's. They got me 300 higher points on my SAT from the first time to the second time I took the tests. I am a better person today and have a great future ahead of me.

Wasn't as great as I was told it was going to be. They have a higher-score guarantee but it doesn't technically mean higher score. They make you take a test at the beginning of the class prior to any studying and then test you again at the end. Usually, you're likely to get a higher score, eh?

This is definitely not a "you get what you pay for story", since I think that Kaplan takes advantage of the vulnerable. As a result they don't invest in the actual service. Sure, you get a book, but is that worth over $1k. They also abuse the help - typically a kid desperate to make some cash with no teacher training. Nice.

I took a Kaplan GMAT class because I thought the weekly class would keep me focused and disciplined and help me get the score I wanted. The teacher was fine and the course materials were helpful. Ultimately, though, I didn't get my score as I as I wanted so hired a private tutor (a student at Harvard who I found online). She proved to be much more helpful and I appreciated the 1:1 attention that the Kaplan classroom teacher just didn't have the time to share.

I am currently enrolled in Kaplan's DAT Classroom Anywhere program and it's incredible. As I prepare for the Dental Admissions Test, Kaplan and their in-depth tutoring and online database have really impressed me. ALthough I just began their program, I already feel much more comfortable with the DAT material and look forward to the next month of the Kaplan program.
