Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to comment on our services. The Huntington Learning Center is independently owned and operated. At the Canton Huntington Learning Center we emphasize the importance of linking what we teach at the center to what is being taught in the classroom. Each student at the center is in a "classroom of one" environment, having their own individual carrel. Each student starts with an individualized program. By establishing a good rapport with each student, the teacher is able to get a good understanding of the student's academic needs. This is achieved by reviewing homework and test results as well as input from the parent(s). As such, we can show the student how what we teach at the center tie in with their school work. This is done with all students at all ages and grades. Furthermore, for the older students, if help is needed on specific subjects, such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Calculus or History, our teachers can address whatever understanding gaps they may have in these (and other) subjects. These subjects are taught in a one-on-one basis allowing maximum teaching efficiency for the individual student.
