Hello, I am a permanent resident of Gulf Shores and I have been cleaning homes for almost 10 years. I have several regular clients that are more than willing to provide references for me and my work ethic. I am available on any day as long as I'm not booked already with another client. Most of my current clients give me about 2 days notice when they will need me. I do not have a specific list of things that I do because everyone is different, although I do have a pretty rigid guideline that I try to follow just so nothing gets missed. I usually provide that list upon meeting the first time, and the home owner can make any changes they feel necessary. I have done deep cleanings, pet walking, grocery shopping, decorating, painting, laundry and ironing, car pool for school aged children, helped with homework, paid bills, made bank deposits, even some yard work. A little about myself, I am 30 years old, I have 3 school aged children that are all girls. I grew up in Mobile but have lived in Gulf Shores for the last 4 years. While living in Mobile, I was employed several years with the police department. I have always wanted to have my own full-time cleaning business but was too afraid to take the plunge with the failing economy (the maid is always the first thing to go when times get hard). I was recently laid off from a large local company and decided that this was Gods way of telling me that it was time to make myself happy. I have devoted all of my time since that day to building a small group of reliable clients that are not only people that I work for, but have became friends of mine. It is not out of character for me to clean a house and leave a bottle of wine or flowers as a surprise welcome to a clean home. To me, there is nothing better than a pleasant surprise and a spotless kitchen.
