I am writing to apply for the position of caregiver. This position seems to fit excellently with my caring nature and career interest. I would like to kindly ask your company to consider me as possible candidate for this position. My enclosed resume mostly provides my years of working experience in the Philippines although it may express a different industry, as a new migrant to this country I fully understand that there is a need to start building a new foundation and by choosing this field of care giving, I believe I can correspond to your requirements, assisting my patients in their daily living activities and needs. As such I have completed training and already acquired two certificates in care giving course training on body mechanics and infection control.

As an experience, I have lived and cared for my 82-year-old mother who underwent dialysis for three years in the Philippines. She was diabetic and had been taking insulin for more than 20 years until the renal failure which leads to the three times a week dialysis. As such I had treated and administered care by giving proper medication, accompanying and assisting her and I have performed light housekeeping duties after my day work. I recently moved to Chicago Illinois to be near my family and I am attracted in care giving especially with the elderly given this skill and experience.

I have migrated to the United States last August 2011 and I have worked in a supermarket in Reno, Nevada until August 12, 2012 as Inventory Control Specialist. My work required a lot of pushing, lifting, pulling and stacking merchandises which made my physique even more ready for caring/tending particularly in lifting patients from the bed to a wheelchair and vice versa. I am in a good physical condition, non-smoker and has a valid drivers license. I have the ability to provide written documentation of service provided in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
