I am a UC Berkeley student, looking for a little part time work to earn money for the outrageous out-of-state tuition costs! Most of my housekeeping experience comes from helping out around my own home-- vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, gardening and watering plants, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, waxing floors, organizing closets/desks, etc. I have a type-A personality, am somewhat of a perfectionist, and like to keep my area as neat and tidy as possible. Professionally, most of my cleaning experience has developed through my jobs in child care. As a camp counselor, I was responsible for maintaining a clean campground and cabin, performing a deep cleaning of bathrooms, the waterfront shed, kitchens, dance halls, ball fields, and lodges once a week, as well as light cleaning of the cabins every morning and night. At day camp, cleaning is constant necessity. Think 60 children eating lunch on the wet grass, think children peeing their pants on the playground, think finger-painting and paper mache galore... :)
