I was raised in a house where my mother was very adamant about cleanliness. She taught me how to clean quickly and efficiently. I've scrubbed walls and baseboards, entire rooms, by myself and it met or exceeded my mother's expectations - which is a very good sign as she was practically OCD about cleanliness and the house always looking its best with 5 children and 2 adults living there. I actually like to clean. It's a good feeling to have a clean house and know it's because I worked hard to make it and keep it that way. I've never been paid for my work as I've only ever cleaned for family.
