I worked as private cook and home housekeeper for two years. Before this job, I worked 7 years of experience as a sous-chef in a world known restaurant in Mexico City. As a housekeeper, I oversee all housekeeping duties, cleaning, vacuuming and dusting, general laundry, ironing, assist with organizing closets, room organization, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, refrigerator cleaning, grocery shopping, and driving and babysitting when needed. The children are ages 9, 7 and 6. We play almost everyday. I help them to take showers, read, and sometimes I take them to the park. As a cook, I prepare healthy and delicious dishes from a variety of world cuisines (Mexican, American, Italian, Thai, Mediterranean, and Spanish). I always try to use fresh and high-quality ingredients and to avoid processed and canned food. My main goals at my job have been to maintain high standards in every single detail and stay responsive to the changing needs. I really enjoy my work, because I love working in a family environment; the greatest rewards for me are to provide and to maintain a pleasant, safe and caring environment for all members in the family.
