For the past 27 years I have worked for the same family in Minnetonka. It has been my pleasure caring for them, planning and preparing their meals, doing laundry and ironing, light daily housekeeping, cleaning and organizing closets and cupboards, taking care of two children through adulthood and doing whatever is needed to keep the home well maintained and running smoothly. I am self-motivated and need little if any direction in this position. Taking care of a home and family is what gives me pleasure and I feel it is why I excel at my job. I like to see to it that when the family is home they can enjoy being a family, spending time together, enjoying each other and not worrying about all the tasks of running a household. There should be fresh flowers arranged, meals prepared, laundry and ironing done, and a spotless home awaiting them. I am able to take care of all errands, personal and household, buy gifts, wrap presents, help with holiday decorating and help supervise staff if needed. I am an accomplished cook and over the years I have kept up with current recipes and ideas, have taken local cooking classes and have large files of recipes waiting for the right family to enjoy! I like to make my meals pleasing to the eye as well as the palate and I maintain an herb and edible flower garden in the summer. Using the freshest of ingredients is important and I enjoy the variety of seasonal cooking and am familiar with cooking heart healthy meals. I am responsible and dependable, detail oriented and you will find me to be honest, trustworthy and discreet.

I can provide excellent references and am looking for a full-time, long-term position that can utilize my skills as a cook and household manager. I will consider live-in or out and am willing to relocate for the right family.
