I am a lifelong Southern Californian with experience both in detail-oriented work and in work involving more physically-demanding assignments. As a janitorial supervisor for a company serving govt. buildings and a large YMCA, I was praised for my close attention to fine details. I have over 20 years of experience in all aspects of long-term home care (large and small properties) including pet care, AKC breeding, and providing personal assistance to disabled adults. Eight years in Big Bear Valley toughened me up some and I still work out to stay fit and healthy. During my time as assistant to an older investor, who was disabled, I was overseer of all property cleaning and maintenance. I have always been an advocate for the disabled and the elderly. I also spent 15 years raising a step-family of 3 boys, 1 girl, and their disabled mother, I did much of the household chores, cooking, and laundry for all of them. At this time, I am living with and assisting my elderly mother in any way I can. Since she is in great shape and only needs occasional help, I am available all hours and seek any kind of work. I 'd like to find something stable and hope to join someone in need of and who can appreciate a conscientious, skilled, and dedicated one as myself.
