Two months in things changed... we started receiving bad reports on our daughter's behavior. When we asked what we could work on she initially said all of the kids act the same way and our daughter was not any worst than the others. (That alone alerted some bells, personally I do not want my child in place where the teachers look at all the students as bad and nothing to be done about it). But we were in and everything seemed ok.
After some payment issues on her part and not being at the day care when she said she would be to receive my child her attitude changed. Because of my work schedule our daughter was the first to arrive each day and that meant she had to wake up earlier than what she was used to. Even though those are the hours that she claimed to be open. She was consistently late which made me late to my job often. After this things changed drastically. When we would go pick our daughter up her attitude was nasty, and towards the end she keep telling us what a brat our daughter was right in front of her. However, would not tell us what exactly the issue was. I would be naive to say that my daughter is a perfect angel but we or any of our family and friends who have watched her before had never seen this described side of her.
After reconsideration I believe that the owners are burned out and not being paid enough. Their attitude is being taken out on the children who in turn act in the way the teachers treat them. When we asked our daughter if she like the owner and the teacher that she was always with she shook her head and said "Ms. Bass not happy". The truth rang out and we decided that we did not want our daughter in a place where everyone was so clearly unhappy. We removed her from the day care and are looking for a different more friendly environment.
