Program Overview
When you shop at Care Club, you can earn up to 25% of your purchases at participating merchants in Cash Back rewards. Your Cash Back rewards are sent to you by mail 4 times a year.
Your current Cash Back rewards balance can be found by clicking on the Care Club Rewards link on the left side of the MyCare.com page.
Registration and Login
All Care.com care seekers (Basic and Premium members) and caregivers are eligible to receive Cash Back from the Care Club.
If you are currently a Care.com care seeker or caregiver, you will automatically receive the benefits of our Care Club rewards program. Simply click on the Care Club tab and start shopping through Care Club. There is no additional enrollment process to complete.
Yes, you can still shop the Care Club and enjoy our retailers' discounts but you will not earn Cash Back rewards for your purchases. To earn Cash Back, you need to be a registered Care.com care seeker or caregiver.
Shopping Online through Care Club
Every time you begin your shopping at the Care Club, you earn Cash Back. Just follow these simple steps:
- Log in to Care.com
- Go to the Care Club
- Seek a merchant or product and click to go to the merchant's site
- Shop online as usual
- Receive a purchase confirmation from the merchant after your purchase
- Later on, you'll receive Care Club Cash Back rewards for the purchases you made
- You'll receive an email from Care.com indicating the Cash Back rewards you've earned
In order to receive Cash Back for your purchases, you must begin your shopping at Care.com's Care Club every time. It's the only way your purchases can be tracked to your Care.com membership so that you earn Cash Back.
You get Cash Back every time you shop, when you start your shopping session at Care.com's Care Club. Plus, there is no limit to the amount of Cash Back you can earn through Care Club.
Some merchants do not offer Cash Back for certain products and services such as gift cards or gift certificates. Also, taxes and shipping fees are not eligible for Cash Back. You can get specific details on the information page for each merchant on the Care Club website. To find the merchant information, click on the "more info" link next to the merchant's name on any shopping category page, or use the Search box to search for a specific merchant and click "more info" for that merchant.
The amount of time between when you place your order with a merchant and when your Cash Back will appear in your account can vary widely, depending on the merchant. It can take up to 45 days to appear in your account. When we add the Cash Back to your account, we'll send you an email confirming it so you don't have to worry about it! For any purchases made for travel (including hotels and rental cars) you may see your Cash Back post once that travel has occurred. Even then, please allow up to 45 days after your actual travel dates.
If after 45 days you still do not see the Cash Back in your account, Contact Us and provide the date of transaction, merchant name, order number, and amount of your purchase (before taxes and shipping).
All returns will result in a deduction of Cash Back previously awarded for that purchase.
In some cases you do. The coupon code will be given to you along with the special offer. Note that if you go to other sites online to try to find coupon codes and use those, you may not be eligible for Cash Back through this program.
You will earn a different amount from each merchant, depending on what you buy at that merchant's site. We show you the percentage of Cash Back or flat rate per transaction you will get for each $1 you spend at a specific merchant. View the merchant's information page for specific details on any disclaimers indicating what types of purchases may be ineligible for Cash Back.
In order for your purchase to be eligible, you must start your online shopping at Care.com's Care Club. Unfortunately, purchases made without going through this online mall are not eligible for Cash Back. Online orders need to be tracked to your Care.com account, and this happens automatically when you log in to Care.com and shop through Care Club. Merchants will not fund shopping rewards if a transaction cannot be tracked back to Care.com.
Currently, you can only earn Cash Back when shopping online. Some merchants, however, allow you to shop online and pick up in-store (please check with each merchant for the availability of this feature). Alternatively, there is a wide selection of gift cards you can purchase through Care Club on our Gift Cards page and through participating online merchants. You can earn Cash Back when you purchase these prepaid cards, and the cards can then be used in-store.
If you start your shopping at Care.com's Care Club, then the merchant you click is a participating merchant. Your order will be tracked and therefore eligible for Cash Back.
There is no need to enter your Care.com account information at the merchant's site and there is no need to contact merchants directly for confirmation that they participate in the program. Merchants are often unaware of Care Club rewards. This is because Care.com is the organization that credits the Cash Back you will receive, not the merchant. The merchant pays a commission to Care.com. Care.com converts 100% of the commission payment it receives to Cash Back rewards for you.
Redeeming my Cash Back Dollars
Each quarter, if you've accumulated at least $15 in Cash Back, you'll automatically receive a payment via postal mail for the total Cash Back you've earned as of quarter-end. This payment is sent approximately 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. The payment will be sent to you at the address registered in your Care.com profile. Please ensure that the address in your Care.com profile is up-to-date so there is no delay in receiving your payment.
Care Club Cash Back redemption will be processed four times during the year: in mid-February for Cash Back accumulated as of December 31; mid-May for Cash Back accumulated as of March 31; mid-August for Cash Back accumulated as of June 30; and mid-November for Cash Back accumulated as of September 30. You will automatically receive a payment via postal mail if you've earned $15 or more in Care Club rewards as of these deadlines.
As long as you maintain an active Care.com account, your Cash Back will not expire.
If you close your Care.com account and you have less than $15 in Cash Back at that time, you need to request (in writing) to redeem your Cash Back within six months of closing your account.
