Hello! I have one year of "official" experience tutoring college students in math (calculus), science, and philosophy. I currently tutor masters students and medical students at PCOM, a medical school I attend in Philadelphia. I have been teaching my little brother as we've grown up and I am very comfortable tutoring at all ages. I enjoy making sometimes difficult, but very important, scientific topics more understandable and easy. I am available all summer long, any day of the week!

I have grown up working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and was raised by a special educator. I now work in an Autistic support classroom as an Aid, and am currently working towards my behavior analyst certification. I am extremely passionate about working with those who have complex needs, especially elementary and pre-school age children. I have all background checks, am CPR certified, and know how to work with functional communication forms like PECS, speech generating devices, and am functional in limited sign. Hi I'm Mariah! I am originally from Boston, however currently I am a first year medical student in Philadelphia, and an aspiring pediatrician. I have 4 years of experience babysitting children in both Philadelphia and Boston, mainly ages 0-8 years old. I enjoy babysitting very much, and love playing, going on walks or to the playground, and reading with the little ones! I have 10+ years of experience working in elementary and middle school after-school programs as a Tae Kwon Do instructor, and have worked in preschools as a teacher's assistant as well. I have a 2-year-old niece myself who I absolutely adore, and I have helped care for her since she was born. Thank you for your interest! In 2006, at age 12, I attended a Sitter Program at a local hospital and have been babysitting for children ever since. In 2012 I started my first daycare position. From 2012-2016 I continued to work/volunteer in childcare between semesters at college and shadow in various pediatric healthcare settings until I graduated from the University of Scranton. In 2016 I became a Medical Scribe in a pediatric doctor's office before continuing onto graduate school at PCOM in 2018. Over this time I have acquired experience in childcare, infant/premature care, tutoring, medically/developmentally diverse children, and various medical training. I can provide copies of current background checks, child abuse clearances, fingerprinting, and certifications in BLS, CPR, and PALS. Hope to hear from you!

Recently moved to SC to help out with family. I am active and love to learn. I would love to babysit children. From my Master's degree internship, I have done group counseling for children of preschool age and 8-10 years old, so I have quite a bit of experience in managing different personalities and keeping children on task! After school I have had years of experience sitting children on the spectrum or with special needs. Some favorite things to do with kids are get outside and play, color, legos, etc!
